An Oregon Township woman had quite a surprise last weekend when after getting out of the shower, she discovered a bullet had been fired in to her home and lodged in a wall. Lapeer County sheriff depuities were called to the home on West Lake Road around 3:30 p.m. and discovered a bullet had gone through a wall in the woman’s home. Deputies questioned two men from a nearby home who told police they had shot several rounds from a Ruger semi-automatic rifle. The incident comes just weeks after a Riley township woman was killed by a stray bullet allegedly shot by a Sterling Heights man. No charges have been filed in thet Oregon Township incident.
