Imlay City taxpayers may be aksed for approval of a millage issue this fall, if the school board decides to renew a request that was first passed in 2014. School officiasls are considering placing a renewal question on the ballot that originally was for a sinking fund. Imlay City administrators, who manage a budget of around $20 million dollars, are considering the fall election in order to save on election costs. A final decision on whether or not to add the issue to the ballot is expected next month.
