Capac officials continue to review possible ordinance language for potential medical marijuana dispensaries that are considering locating within the village limits. At their meeting last week, board members considered proposals for larger lot sizes and not offering as many licenses as concessions for a final draft of a new ordinance. Instead of nine licenses, board members agreed to lower the number to four and agreed lot sizes should be 10 acres for grow operations and five for processing plants. A decision, either in favor of, or opposed to, is expected at their next meeting in June.
