(MARLETTE TOWNSHIP) – A 46-year old Marlette woman sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Sanilac County’s Marlette Township Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Sanilac County Sheriff Department, the woman was driving a Polaris Ranger when she pulled out from a private drive into the path of a vehicle driving north on Germainia Road just before 4:30 p.m.
The Marlette woman was transported to Marlette Regional Hospital by Marlette EMS for treatment of her injuries while the other driver, a 55-year old from Applegate, was not injured.
The accident remains under investigation and alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Marlette fire and EMS assisted deputies at the scene.
