The second deadly crash in five days was reported Sunday at the intersction of Irish Road and M-57, an intersection the Michigan Department of Transportation has targeted for safety improvements. Police said a vehicle ran a stop sign at the Forest Township intersection in Genesee County around 4 p.m. A second vehicle traveling on M-57 collided with the other vehicle, leaving one person dead and another badly hurt. The Department of Transportation is planning to install a four-way stop at the intersection soon.
