A crash that claimed the life of a 40-year-old Marysville man remains under investigation. According to the Michigan State Police the single vehicle crash happened at about 4:30 p.m. Friday in Kimball Township. Troopers said witnesses reported seeing a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on westbound Interstate 69, near Wadhams Road, before losing control and entering the median. The vehicle became airborne and overturned several times, ejecting the driver. Troopers said excessive speed and failure to wear a safety belt are believed to have been contributing factors in the crash.
