The Port Huron police department has received a new piece of equipment to help save lives. The department received an Automated External Defibrillator for their recently purchased Segway that will patrol special events and festivals this year. The AED was made possible by a donation from the Fraternal Order of Police as part of a grant program by Firehouse Subs Foundation. The $250,000 dollar Foundation grant program nationwide will allow the purchase of 263 AEDs for law enforcement agencies.
