A 22-year old Port Hope man was injured Monday morning when he lost control of his car in Huron County. Deputies responded to the scene on Johnston Road, south of Kinde Road around 7 a.m. and learned Robert Schulte was driving northbound when a wild turkey flew in front of his Chevy Malibu. Schulte swerved to miss the bird and entered the east ditch, struck an embankment before coming to rest in the ditch. He sustained head and facial injury and was taken by private vehicle to McLaren Bad Axe for treatment of his injuries.
