A methamphetamine lab was shut down early Tuesday morning, July 3, following an investigation by the St. Clair County Drug Task Force. According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, DTF agents executed a search warrant at a home on Minnie Street in Port Huron Township shortly after midnight. Components of a meth lab and other drug paraphernalia were found in the home. Drug Task Force members dismantled the lab, decontaminated the area and disposed of the lab materials in a specialized container at the Sheriff’s Office. Two Port Huron men, ages 32 and 34 were arrested and lodged at the St. Clair County jail and are expected to face multiple drug charges.
