Jeff Satkowski, who previously served as Systems Administrator for the Lapeer County Dispatch Center has a new job, but he’s not going far. Lapeer County Commissioners named Satkowski the new Central Dispatch Director at a meeting last week, replacing Vic Martin who recently retired after 15 years in the department. The new Director has 16 years experience of being a dispatcher prior to being a Systems Administrator. Satkowski will have a salary of around $54,000 in his first year, increasing to nearly $68,000 in his third year of his contract.
