(MARLETTE TOWNSHIP) – The Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office’s investigation of a death at a residence in the 4500 block of Cooper Road in Marlette Township has been determined to be suspicious. Detectives who were conducting follow-up on a well-being check located the body of a 64-year-old male who resided there.
The Sheriff’s Office has in custody a 58-year-old female subject living at the same residence who was lodged on charges surrounding the investigation.
An autopsy on the male subject has been scheduled for Friday afternoon, July 20th.
The investigation is on-going and more information will be released as it becomes available.
