Four Millington area girls escaped unharmed following an incident involving a 22-year old man the evening of Saturday, August 11. According to Millington police, the young females were leaving the Millington Speedway around 10 p.m. when they were allegedly approached by a 22-year old man. The man had followed them across the street and grabbed the youngest girl around the head and told her she was coming with him. The other girls fought with the man and threw their hot coffee on him. The suspect let the young girl go and grabbed another girl by her hair and was again kicked and hit by the girls until he let her go and fled. Officers took statements from the victims and a short time later, the suspect was located in Millington Township. He was arrested and lodged at the Tuscola County Jail.
