If you’ve been looking for an opportunity to be a Foster Grandparent, now is the time to sign up. Organizers from the Human Development Center say volunteers will spend 20 hours per week in a local classroom working one-on-one with children who need a little extra help. Foster Grandparents must be at least 55 years old and successfully pass a background check. Training is provided for working in classrooms.
