Lapeer County sheriff investigators continue to seek clues in the shooting of a Lapeer Township man last week. A 49-year old man was shot in his shoulder while sitting in his home, but police are not identifying the man or his address due to safety concerns. Police said so far in the investigation, despite social media fodder, there is no evidence to support the theory that the incident is connected to the drowning death of an Attica Township teen. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the Lapeer County Sheriff Department.
