(FORT GRATIOT TOWNSHIP) – The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred Sunday morning in Fort Gratiot Township.
According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, deputies were called to a possible hit and run pedestrian fatality around 8:00 a.m. in the 4000 block of Keewahdin Road.
It was determined 27-year old Kevin Anderson, Jr. of Port Huron, had not been struck by a vehicle, rather he had been shot, dragged to a ditch and left for dead.
Citizens told police they heard something in the area around 4 a.m. and witnessed a parked car in the area of the crime scene.

Fort Gratiot Fire, Tri-Hospital EMS and the Michigan State Police Crime Lab assisted deputies at the scene.
