(LAPEER COUNTY) – Fighting for her life, a Lapeer County sheriff’s deputy is sharing her story in hopes of finding a kidney donor.
Deputy Shanin Beall puts her life on the line every day protecting the public, and now she’s asking the community to help her as she battles a serious illness.
Calling it the fight of her life, Beall is hoping someone will be able to help her with a matching kidney and is racking up huge medical bills.
She was diagnosed in September of 2016, with a serious auto immune disease that hinders both of her kidneys from filtering blood.
While she waits for a donor, Beall’s condition continues to worsen and she has dialysis every day.
Yet, she still has the time to share her story in hopes of receiving help from someone who is either O positive or O negative and willing to be a kidney donor.
