(SANILAC COUNTY) – A tractor-trailer semi truck, believed to have been involved in hauling sugar beets from the piling grounds just east of Sandusky, lost it’s second trailer – the “pup”, when it came unhooked in Carsonville Wednesday morning, just before noon.
Sanilac County Sheriff Department officials say the incident happened at low speeds and no injuries were reported.
According to pictures taken at the scene, it appears the secondary trailer became unhooked from the primary trailer and rolled on it’s side near the intersection of Chandler Street and South Main Street.
The empty trailer was lifted back to its wheels using a fork lift.
