An Almont woman was allegedly abducted at gunpoint by her ex-husband late last week, landing the 51-year old Detroit man in the Lapeer County jail. Police in Lapeer Count were notified of the incident several hours afterthe fact, and took Jerome Fahner into custody after he was arrested in Metro-Detroit last Thursday. According to investigators, the man went to his ex-wife’s home and allegedly hid for three days before carrying out the attack. Police say the woman had returned home and found the man in her bedroom, allegedly pointing a gun at her and eventually took her to a Detroit area home. Fahner, who was arraigned Friday, is now facing multiple felony counts including kidnapping and armed robbery.
