A 21-year-old Port Huron man pleaded guilty Tuesday to seven felonies connected to three robberies, including one in which he brandished a BB gun. Authorities say Torres Snyder Jr. admitted pointing a BB gun at two people behind a dumpster at the Speedway on Ravenswood Road in Port Huron late last month. He pleaded guilty to two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent. Snyder also admitted to stealing a firearm from a home on 16th Street in Port Huron and other related charges. Police say Snyder was arrested earlier this month while an alleged accomplice, Crystal Shafer has plead to lesser charges. Snyder is facing a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison. Crystal Shafer, a 37-year-old Port Huron woman, is accused of being Snyder’s accomplice in a January robbery. She pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of larceny from a person, a 10-year felony.
