All things considered, the number of Coronavirus cases in the five-county Thumb region is relatively steady, although there were slight increases, most notably in Lapeer County. Health Department officials in Lapeer County reported 45 cases Sunday, after saying they had 27 cases on Saturday. St. Clair County has 94 cases, with three deaths while Sanilac County has 13 cases with one reported death. Tuscola County is up to 22 cases with two deaths and Huron County has four cases. In all, there are 160 cases in the five-county region with six reported deaths.
