A fiery, single vehicle crash claimed the life of a male subject in Tuscola County late Monday evening.
Troopers from the Michigan State Police Caro Post responded to the incident at the intersection of Maple Grove and Mayville Roads around 10 p.m.
Troopers found a 1999 Grand Prix engulfed in flames, with the male subject trapped inside the vehicle. Troopers and firefighters from Mayville fire department were unable to get the victim out.
Troopers say they have not been able to identify the victim who was killed in the crash as of yet and did not say if alcohol may have been a factor in the incident or not.
The fatal crash remains under investigation.
