Man facing felony charges in Huron County

(HURON COUNTY) – A 45-year old man is facing felony charges after an incident in Caseville early Sunday morning.
According to Huron County Sheriff Kelly Hanson, deputies responded to a Huron St. address in Caseville around 5:30 a.m. for an alleged home invasion.
A 41-year old female told deputies a former male acquaintance had entered her home through a window and then left.
Sheriff Hanson said cell phone history showed the suspect started contacting the complainant via text and phone Saturday afternoon angry with some of the contact referring to physical harm.
Deputies searched the Caseville area looking for the suspect who was later located by a Michigan State Police Trooper around 9 a.m. in Caseville.
he suspect, Craig Naert, was arrested and lodged in jail for the felony home invasion.
Naert was arraigned in District Court Monday on felony charges for 3rd degree home invasion and aggravated stalking.
Bond was set at $100,000 cash and he remains lodged in the Huron County jail.
