(FORT GRATIOT TOWNSHIP) – The St. Clair County Sheriff Department responded to the scene of a motorcycle accident Monday, following a crash in Fort Gratiot Township.
The operator of the bike was transported to McLaren Port Huron Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Investigators say the motorcyclist was traveling west on Kraft Road around 4 p.m. when he struck the side of a minivan that was crossing Kraft while driving on Campbell Road.
Deputies say the driver of the minivan was uninjured. Deputies were assisted by Tri-Hospital EMS and Fort Gratiot fire department.
