BREAKING:
(SANDUSKY) – The Sandusky police department responded to a home on Marion Street in Sandusky Thursday afternoon, following an accidental discharge of a firearm.
Chief Brett Lester said officers responded to the home and found a female victim who had sustained a single gunshot wound to the abdomen from a 9mm handgun.
According to EMS radio traffic, it appears the gunshot went through the woman’s abdomen and exited.
She was transported to McKenzie Health System in critical condition and was later airlifted by Lifenet to Covenant
