(AREA) – Health Department officials in Huron and Tuscola County have broken down CCOVID-19 information, showing the hardest hit areas in the two counties.
In Huron County, at the time of the report, 780 cases were being reported with 16 deaths and 330 recoveries. Bad Axe reported 191 cases with 67 recoveries while the Pigeon area had 99 cases with 44 recoveries.
Other communities included 79 cases in Harbor Beach with 39 recoveries and 50 cases in Caseville with 30 people recovering. Nearly 300 cases in Huron County are in the age group of 50 years and over.
Meanwhile, in Tuscola County, health officials report 1,697 at the time of releasing the data, with 61 deaths and 848 recoveries.
Caro has been the consistent hot spot with 402 cases and 189 recoveries while Vassar has had 276 cases and 160 recoveries and Cass City has experienced 213 cases with 92 recoveries.
Millington has had 212 cases with 126 recoveries while Mayville has experienced 109 cases with 45 people recovered.
