John Stefan
(SANILAC COUNTY) – Early Wednesday morning, Sanilac Central Dispatch received a report of a missing person from the 4500 block of Banner Road in Wheatland Township.
Around 6:30 a.m., the caller reported her husband, 65-year-old John Stefan, was supposed to go to an appointment in Sandusky but had not showed up.
Authorities say Stefan left the house at approximately 5:10 A.M. Wednesday morning.
Through investigation, it was later learned he was seen in the city of Lapeer at approximately 7:20 A.M. traveling southbound in a 2007 Navy Blue Chevrolet Silverado.
Stefan, who is traveling without a cell phone, has immediate family that lives out of state, but it is unknown where he may be traveling.
