A Brown City man is believed to be among among those injured in a three-vehicle crash in St. Clair County late Sunday.
According to the St. Clair County Sheriff Department, a pickup truck was traveling west in an eastbound lane near the M-19 overpass at the Emmett exit around 10pm Sunday.
Investigators say the truck struck a car, killing a 30-year old Sterling Heights man and injured his 21-year old Kenockee Township passenger.
A third vehicle, driven by a 29-year old woman from Columbus Township was also involved with the driver being treated and released at the scene.
The driver of the wrong-way pickup truck is believed to be a 36-year old Brown City man, according to authorities, and is currently recovering at an area hospital.
I-69, just south of Emmett, was shut down until 2am Monday morning for the crash investigation.
