(ST. CLAIR COUNTY) – A 21-year old Port Huron man has been arraigned following a raid by the St. Clair County Drug Task Force.
According to Sheriff Mat King, members of the DTF conducted an investigation into the sales of narcotics in the Port Huron area.
The investigation led to the execution of a search warrant in the 800 block of Wall Street in the city of Port Huron at about 10:00 p.m. on March 18th.
During the search, heroin and methamphetamine were seized. 21-year old Mark Urie, was arrested without incident and lodged at the St. Clair County jail.
Urie was arraigned in 72nd District Court in Port Huron Sunday and is charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house.
His bond was set at $30,000 cash/surety. Urie’s next court date is a probable cause hearing March 30th.
The St. Clair County Special Response Team and Port Huron Police K-9 Unit assisted in the investigation.
