Four injured in St. Clair County crash

(ST. CLAIR COUNTY) – Four people were injured in a two car crash yesterday afternoon in St. Clair Township.
According to St. Clair County Sheriff Mat King, deputies were dispatched to Wadhams Road and Gratiot Road for a roll-over injury crash around 12:30 Tuesday.
Deputies say a 2009 Pontiac G6 was travelling westbound on Gratiot, went through a red light and was struck by a 2020 Honda Ridgeline, which was northbound on Wadhams Road.
The driver of the Pontiac, a 21 year old woman from Port Huron who is three months pregnant, was ejected from the vehicle. She and her passengers, a 26 year old man from Port Huron and a 1 year old child, were all transported by Tri-Hospital EMS to Lake Huron Medical Center in Port Huron.
The 26 year old was treated and released, the 1 year old was transported to Children’s Hospital to be checked out.
The woman was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The driver of the pickup, a 52 year old man from Macomb Township, was treated and released at Lake Huron Medical Center.
The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Unit.
Kimball Township Fire and Rescue and the St. Clair County Road Commission assisted at the scene.
