On March 16th, the Huron County Drug Task Force and Huron County Sheriff Department depuities executed a search warrant on Huron City Rd. in Bloomfield Twp. for illegal drug activity.
Sheriff Kelly Hanson said the search was the result of an ongoing investigation that led to the confiscation of suspected heroin, methamphetamine, analog pills and a handgun.
Sheriff Hanson said the suspected drugs have been sent to the Michigan State Police Crime lab for analysis, which included 13 loaded syringes.
Felony delivery charges will likely be sought on the female resident, pending lab results.
In a sepaarate incident, on Tuesday, Sheriff Hanson said DTF members and a deputy also arrested a 35-year old Bad Axe man on two felony delivery charges of methamphetamine after he left his Pigeon Rd address.
These charges also stemmed from an ongoing investigation, according to Hanson who said Jeremy Gruber remains in the Huron County jail on a $10,000 cash bond.
