Huron County man arrested for alleged home invasion

(HURON COUNTY) – Following a case of alleged home invasion in Huron County last weekend, a Huron County man has found himself lodged in the Huron County jail.
According to Sheriff Kelly Hanson, a Paris Township man called 911 to report his home had been entered around 1 a.m. by an unwanted male subject who claimed to be looking for his ex-girlfriend.
Sheriff Hanson said the female told investigators she did not feel safe alone due to on going issues with the suspect and went to the Paris Township address.
Deputies say the suspect forced his way in to the home and tried to grab the female to force her out of the home.
The homeowner intervened and got into a brief altercation with the suspect before the suspect finally left the home.
