(SANILAC COUNTY) – The Carsonville-Port Sanilac school board is more than pleased with the performance of Superintendent Doug Muxlow and their evaluation records show why the part-time Superintendent scored a perfect four of four in all categories he was evaluated on.
At a recent meeting. board members revealed their scores, saying Muxlow has done an outstanding job for the district.
Muxlow tallied the maximum points in Governance and Board Relations, Community Relations, Staff Relations, Business and Finance, Instructional Leadership and Professional Practices.
Board members commended their Superintendent on being visible to the community, sensitive to staff and district needs as well as an effective leader with the district’s budget.
Muxlow was hired by the district as a part-time employee, in an effort to help save money.
Since his time there, district voters have passed millages for improvements district-wide including facilities, curriculum and athletics.
