FLINT TWP, MICH. The Michigan State Police, Flint Post is investigating an accident that left a full-grown black bear dead in the roadway on I-75 near Beecher Road. Troopers were dispatched to investigate the bear in the roadway on April 19, 2021 at 1:00 a.m. in Genesee County. The vehicle involved in the accident had left the scene prior to troopers arriving on scene. The Department of Natural Resources, Law Enforcement Division was contacted, and the bear carcass was turned over to them for further investigation.
