Four local missing teens found in West Virgina

Tuscola County Sheriff Department officials have been busy in recent days, tracking down reports of missing individuals.
Four local students, ranging in ages from 13 – 15 years old and from the Unionville-Sebewaing area, went missing during the overnight hours of April 19th.
Police say the teenagers had devised a plan to meet an adult in West Virginia who is a family member to one of the involved juveniles.
According to investigators, the students took a family member’s vehicle without permission and drove to West Virginia to meet an adult and were intercepted by police when they arrived.
None of the juveniles had permission to go or had driver’s licenses.
With cooperation from the Charleston Police Department, Tuscola authorities were able to locate and return the children to their parents and guardians.
The incident remains under investigation.
