(TUSCOLA COUNTY) – Michigan State Police Troopers are investigating a fatal accident that claimed the life of a 20-year old Vassar woman who died at the scene of a traffic crash Wednesday night.
State Police Troopers from the Caro Post were called to the area of Ormes Road near Slafter Road in Tuscola Township for a two car injury crash shortly after 8:30 p.m.
According to Troopers, the 20-year old Vassar woman was declared deceased at the scene.
The other driver, a 32-year old Milford woman, sustained minor injuries and received treatment from a local medical facility before being released.
According to authorities, the crash remains under investigation including how the incident happened.
Troopers say drugs and alcohol are not suspected to have contributed to the incident.
Troopers were assisted by Tuscola County Sheriff’s Office, Millington Police, Vassar Fire, and MMR personnel.
