(ST. CLAIR COUNTY) – A 36-year old St. Clair County man is receiving treatment for an apparent stab wound he allegedly received early Wednesday morning.
According to the Port Huron police department, the Clyde Township man went to Lake Huron Medical Center for treatment of the stab wound to his chest.
Port Huron Officers responded to the hospital shortly after 3 a.m., after being notified of the incident.
The man told police he was jumped about an hour and a half before coming to the hospital but was unsure who stabbed him.
Authorities say it was not clear if the man sustained the injury in Port Huron or another location.
The incident remains under investigation while police continue to attempt to speak to possible witnesses or suspects.
