Firefighter takes plea deal in death of Peck woman

(SANILAC COUNTY) – A Peck man has pled guilty to four charges related to the death of a Peck woman in 2020, prior to going to trial for the case.
As a result of the plea, Sanilac County Prosecutor Brenda Sanford said three other felonies have been dismissed.
Among the charges Adam Bullock has pled guilty to are Failure to stop at the scene of an accident when at fault, causing death, which is a fifteen year felony. The remaining charges are all misdemeanors.
Bullock is due back in Court in August for his sentencing.
The charges came as the result of the tragic incident when Bullock struck Mary Ann Longuski who was walking across Lapeer Ave. in downtown Peck in October of 2020.
Longuski later died from her injuries in a local hospital.
Prosecutor Sanford said video evidence of the incident from a nearby surveillance system proved to be critical in prosecuting the case.
