The St. Clair County Drug Task Force executed search warrants in Port Huron Township and Marine City on Wednesday, seizing drugs and arresting six individuals.
According to Sheriff Mat King, the DTF conducted investigations into the sales of narcotics in the two locations.
Around 1:00 a.m. Wednesday, a search warrant was executed in the 2400 block of Division Street in Port Huron Township.
DTF agents seized over $9000 worth of crystal methamphetamine, along with fentanyl, cash, digital scales and packaging materials. Two Port Huron men, ages 31 and 37 and two women from Port Huron, ages 27 and 32 were arrested at the home.
They were transported and lodged at the St. Clair County jail facing multiple drug charges.
The Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol assisted in the investigation.
The DTF executed their second search warrant of the day shortly after 11:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Brown Street in Marine City.
DTF agents seized cocaine, fentanyl, analogue pills, a handgun, digital scales and packaging material.
A 33 year old man and a 37 year old woman, both from Marine City were arrested at the home.
They were transported and lodged in jail and are waiting multiple drug charges including felon in possession of a firearm and maintaining a drug house.
The Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team and Marine City Police Department assisted in the investigation.
