Two arrested in Port Huron drug raid

(ST. CLAIR COUNTY) – Two people are lodged at the St. Clair County jail, following a Drug Task Force investigation.
According to Sheriff Mat King, members of the DTF investigated sales of narcotics in the Port Huron area, which led to the execution of a search warrant in the 1600 block of McPherson Street in the city of Port Huron.
Around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, the DTF entered the residence and seized about $550 worth methamphetamine, about $200 worth of cocaine, analogue pills, cash, digital scales and drug packaging materials.
Two Port Huron men, ages 51 and 48 were arrested without incident at the home.
They face charges including possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of analogues and maintaining a drug house.
The Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team also assisted at the residence.
