(SANILAC COUNTY) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Sanilac County’s Worth Township over the weekend.
According to the Sanilac County Sheriff Department, deputies and rescue crews responded to the area of Galbraith Line and Croswell Roads around 6 p.m. after receiving the 9-1-1 call reporting the crash.
Deputies, along with Croswell Fire/Rescue and Croswell EMS responded to the scene.
Deputies’ initial investigation revealed that a 78 year-old Croswell woman was headed west on Galbraith Line Road in a 2014 Ford Edge, when she rear-ended a trailer being towed by a 1994 K3500 pickup driven by a 36-year-old Carsonville man.
The pickup and trailer were attempting a turn into a driveway near the scene of the accident.
Deputies say the Croswell woman was transported to McLaren Port Huron Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Deputies are not releasing the names of those involved, due to the crash being an ongoing investigation.
