(SANILAC COUNTY) – Four people sustained injuries in a two vehicle crash ion Sanilac County’s Greenleaf Township Friday morning.
According to the Sanilac County Sheriff Department, Sanilac County Central Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call reporting a two-vehicle crash on N. Vandyke Road and Huron County Line Road in Greenleaf Township around 11:30 a.m.
Investigators say a 32-year old Caro man was driving south on N. Vandyke Road in a 2004 in a Chevrolet Cavalier, traveling too fast for road conditions.
According to deputies, the man lost control of his vehicle, entering the northbound lane and striking a north bound 2012 Chevrolet Equinox.
The driver of the Equinox, a 39-year old Bad Axe woman and her two 12-year old daughters were all injured and treated on scene by Cass City Fire, Marlette EMS and Cass City MMR.
All three were transported to Cass City Hills & Dales Hospital.
The Caro man was also transported to Cass City Hills & Dales Hospital for treatment of injuries.
The crash remains under investigation and deputies say they are not releasing any other information at this time.
