All Sanilac County 4-H Exhibitors between the ages of 7-19 that are planning on exhibiting a animal at the County Fair this year must take YQCA (Youth Quality Care Assurance)classes. The classes that are being offered locally are free! You must register thru the Events Management link for the date and time that best fits into your schedule. Record Books class will also be held after the YQCA classes on April 28, May 26 and July 9. YQCA certification is required of every youth that is bringing an animal to the fair. Organizers say you will not be allowed to check an animal until your certification is completed. Record books are required for all project areas. The YQCA program is a certification class that covers proper care and life skills that enhance the educational experience of properly caring for livestock.
