(SANILAC COUNTY) – After decades of doing business in downtown Sandusky as Sanilac Pharmacy, the business will have new owners – but continue to offer the same service customers have come to know an appreciate.
Located at 78 S. Elk Street in Sandusky, Sanilac Pharmacy has operated under the umbrella of McKenzie Health System since it’s beginning, offering prescription medicine, over-the-counter medication, general healthcare supplies and a wide variety of gifts.
The new owner-operator, Ehardt’s Pharmacy has eight locations in neighboring communities and is well respected throughout the area.
McKenzie Health System President and CEO Steve Barnett said while he is proud of Sanilac Pharmacy’s legacy, he is impressed with the level of integrity and service Ehardt’s has maintained.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed and final details of the sale are expected to be completed within the next 90 days.
