police-lights-2-2

The Sanilac County Drug Task Force arrested a 24-year old Lexington man during a raid last Thursday in Worth Township. Sanilac County Drug Task Force Director Jim Johnson says the raid was part of an ongoing investigation into the sale of illegal prescription analogue drugs in the area. Officers executed a search warrant Thursday at a residence in Worth Township and seized various amounts of analogue drugs, as well as $2,000 in cash. Officers with the drug task force received assistance from the Department of Homeland Security’s Border Enforcement Security Task Force, as well as the Sanilac County Sheriff Department and the Drug Task Force K-9. Charges are pending against the 24-year old man arrested in the raid. Johnson says the investigation is ongoing.
