Authorities say that no one was home and thus no one was injured when the Kimball Township Fire Department reported to a structure fire 5:30 a.m. Thursday morning.
First reported as a possible grass fire, the house blaze in the 1700 block of Hickory Road caused smoke damage throughout the home, as well as smoke and fire damage to the roof and in a bedroom. The fire’s cause is being investigated at this time.
Also reporting to the scene were the Port Huron Township and Marysville fire departments, St. Clair County Sheriff Department, and Tri-Hospital EMS.
