A 55-year-old Vassar area man was found dead after his car struck a tree upon leaving the roadway.
Vassar Township Deputy Timothy Zube was dispatched to the scene of an accident on Rupprecht Road, near Scotch Road, last night around 8:17 p.m. The man was not wearing his seat-belt when Deputy Zube found him, and had been alone in the car. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor, and that the crash was probably caused by medical circumstances.
Vassar PD, Fire and MMR assisted at the scene.
