Dr. Thomas Edward Michalek of Kalkaska (formerly of Deckerville and Perry, Michigan) passed away at the age of 66 in Zephyrhills, Florida, on April 4, 2022.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Morrice, Michigan. The family will be receiving friends and loved ones at the church from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. A rosary will be led by Sandusky Council #4693 at 7:30 p.m. There will also be visitation at the church on Saturday before service, from 9:00 a.m. until service at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will take place at Minden City Cemetery later, but a celebration of life for Dr. Michalek will be held on Saturday, May 28 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., as hosted at Mark and Sally Klaus’ residence of 5220 Snay Road, Palms, Michigan.
