Fairgrove teen alleged to have threatened violence with a knife; charged on 10 counts

Michigan State Police in Caro have finished their investigation of a felonious assault that occurred this past Wednesday in Fairgrove.
Officers were dispatched to the 4000 block of Center Street in Fairgrove around 5:00 p.m. due to a report of murder threats made by a 14-year-old juvenile after an argument with other residents of the home, with the juvenile making the threats with a knife. Following further investigation, it was found that an assault by the juvenile had happened, though no life-threatening injuries were reported from it.
The juvenile was taken into custody for three counts of Assault with Intent to Murder ,a charge for carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent, three counts of felonious assault with a dangerous weapon, and three counts of domestic violence. They have been placed in an out-of-area juvenile facility and held with a bond of $100,000 following their arraignment on all charges Thursday via remote means. No additional information will be released at this time.
