The St. Clair County Drug Task Force closed out two more investigations last week, resulting in two arrests and the seizure of crystal Methamphetamine, fentanyl, and crack cocaine.
The first arrest occurred on Tuesday, July 5, when a 44-year-old Port Huron man was found in possession of what was described as “a dealer’s quantity of crack cocaine and fentanyl.” He is currently lodged at the St. Clair County jail for possession with intent to distribute the drugs and being a habitual offender.
The next day, a 41-year-old Port Huron man was also arrested and lodged at the St. Clair County jail following a search warrant served on his home. The search warrant was in response to an earlier traffic stop that had yielded $6,000 in street value of crystal meth and fentanyl, a large amount of cash, and some drug paraphernalia. When the search warrant was served at the 1600 block of McBrady Street in Port Huron, officers found packaging materials, digital scales, and further drug paraphernalia.
The charges the man now faces includes possession of paraphernalia and delivery of methamphetamine and heroin.
