Brothers arrested for Kimball Twp. altercation

A pair of brothers are currently awaiting court proceedings in St. Clair County Jail after an altercation on July 16.
County deputies were called to the 5100 block of Lapeer Road in Kimball Township at 6:00 that evening due to Daniel and David Loxton, the suspects, approaching an adult with two juveniles and starting a physical altercation. At one point, the brothers brandished a handgun, with one of them firing the weapon.
No one was hurt, and Loxtons were located about 2 miles away from the scene. They were arrested, being arraigned on Tuesday. David Loxton was arraigned on felonious assault, three counts of felony firearm, possession of a firearm and ammunition by a felon, possession of a firearm under the influence and fourth offense habitual offender. His bond is $75,000, no 10%.
His brother, Daniel, had similar charges: two counts of felonious assault, two counts of felony firearm, reckless use of a firearm and possession of a firearm under the influence. His bond is set for $50,000, also with no 10%.
They are lodged in the St. Clair County Jail, awaiting preliminary court hearings.
